a peek into the glorious days that fill our little gibson home. "What makes our days glorious isn't what we do or what we've done but what Jesus does. He makes everything Glorious."

This Is Our Tree
This is our thankful tree. Each year we do a thankful leaf chain but this year we are adding a tree to the mix. Our chain has just one thing from each person, we keep it year after year and it grows bigger and bigger. This year we were able to add Emmyn to it!
The tree on the other hand is a multitude of thanksgiving. We leave the leaf cutouts on the counter, available at all times for someone to show thanks. I can't wait to see how big out tree grows in just a few short weeks.
Like a tree that grows tall; may our roots grow deep in good soil. Soil that is willing to hear, learn, grow and show thanks to our great God.
That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. Then he told them many things in parables, saying: "A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. He who has ears, let him hear."
