Fellowship Begins...when I sit {funny thing is, so does learning.}

I hope I never forget, he learned the names of Jesus' disciples there at the table.

Wearing Superman underwear, eating crackers, with Always Save paper towels and baby wipes on the table next to him.

How often do we underestimate what we can teach and where we can do it? So much curriculum, so much planning.

Perhaps sometimes, fellowship can end where planning begins.

I wonder if sometimes, fellowship ends when the standards of school begin.

I wonder if fellowship ends when the "googling" begins.

Google: What are the signs of a learning disability?
Google: What should my child know by the age of...

Maybe I Google more than I get on my knees?

Like, really get on my knees.

Maybe I set standards before I get on my knees?

And perhaps,

I plan,
  and plan,
    and plan;

when really...

they.just.want.me.to.sit.

"..These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up..." Deuteronomy 6:6-7
And we all know, they love to sit and talk for a bit.

Superman underwear and all. ; )

Have an extra second in your day?
